To meet the different requirements of customers LankaCom offers clear channel services as well as IP based data network services. LankaCom operates an island wide IP based network to enable provision of multimedia services to corporates. The current back bone and access network support bandwidth up to 20Mbps in 64k increments. Customers requiring higher speed access links are provided service via point to point RF Links
Service quality is assured with MPLS technology while security is provided via software or hardware and the use of technology such as GRE/PPTP tunneling with encryption. IPSec is used if required.
In line with LankaCom’s corporate objective in providing a complete solution to customers, the service includes routers with complete configuration support and maintenance with one to one equipment back up.
Typical applications implemented by customers subscribing to LankaCom Private Network services include Data Communication, Internet access, video conferencing and Voice services for Inter branch and international communications via VOIP technology such as H.323 and SIP.
